Lag B'Omer

A bonfire, a fire show, and a fair in the park.

Lag B’Omer is the thirty-third day of the Omer, the seven-week count between Passover and Shavuot. It is the anniversary of the passing of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, who asked that the day be marked with joy rather than mourning — which is why it is kept with bonfires, parades, and getting outside.

The mourning customs observed through the rest of the Omer lift for the day.

Our Lag B’Omer family fun fair is built for joy, laughter, and a lot of running around: bounce houses, an obstacle course, face painting, a foam party, a clown show, a rally with prizes, and a bonfire and fire show to close it out. To eat, there are hot dogs, burgers, salads, corn on the cob, fresh fruit, drinks, cotton candy, and popcorn.
