Yom Kippur

The Day of Atonement — the holiest day of the Jewish year.

Yom Kippur is a day of fasting, prayer, and reflection, closing the Ten Days of Repentance that begin on Rosh Hashanah. Services run from Kol Nidrei the evening before through Neilah at nightfall.

Yizkor, the memorial service for departed loved ones, is recited during the day. If you'd like a name included, use the prayer request form.
