Tamim Preschool
About the Gan
Our aim is a stimulating, enriching environment — one that builds socialization and self-confidence and gets a child ready for elementary school, while rooting them in their Jewish heritage.
How we teach
We follow the principle of chanoch l’naar al pi darko — teach a child according to their own path. We start from the assumption that every child is competent, curious, inquisitive, unique, and creative, and we build the day around that rather than around a single way of learning.
Children explore through words, movement, drawing, painting, playing, and the other natural ways young children make sense of things. The goal isn’t only school readiness. It’s the beginning of a life of learning.
We think of ourselves as a partner with your family in guiding your child’s development, not a substitute for it. That partnership is the whole basis of how we work with parents.
